I was the lead user experience architect on Orbitz's initial exploration into search result filtering tools. This year long effort required much prototyping, repeated usability studies, and experimentation in how to document these dynamic behaviors. I had to create a new type of document which outlined the interactive behavior of filters which was adopted by the group as a standard.
